It's been a year since life has been nothing but uncertain. We transitioned from not knowing where we would end up living, spiraling up and down between hope and despair, until we found our new destination. And came the preparation, packing, and unpacking, finding a new ground and settling in, adjusting to the new landscape (physically and emotionally), all within a period of less than eight months.

These journal prompts have kept me grounded in this brutal (inside and out) transition. All I've been experiencing during this period of uncertainty, the transition of leaving Japan, and the harsh realities of life in Bali.

All the pauses and holds, the losses, and finding the way back. I reflected and journaled on one of these prompts on most quiet evenings, and it did help me rekindle that light inside.

Each prompt includes a theme, reflection, and guiding question, designed to be done in the morning (or revisited at night). I arranged them in a 30-day list, for those who would like to approach this as a head-on challenge, in case of emergency, to ascend to the light.

This journey requires consent and commitment; unless you approach it with dedication, honesty, and a heart that's fully open, you might find this work tedious. But, soul work is also work, and it should be treated as such, just as you would with other works like your career or physical workout.

Take your time, and be gentle with your soul. I hope you find your way.
